Noctua NH-C12P CPU Cooler Review

Published in CPU Coolers, Reviews | Written by Rhys

CPU cooling is dominated by air coolers, but recently a lot more interest has been placed on overclocking. This requires better CPU cooling and generally speaking overclocking enthusiasts tend to choose watercooling over the top end air coolers. “Today we’re examining a set of PC audio speakers, the Eagle Tech Arion 140W Soundstage 2.1 variety, to be precise. They’re a modest, budget set, aimed at the home user and gamer on a budget, coming in at only $65. Having a very sleek aesthetic also lends to the appeal, but the real test is how they perform when playing your favourite movies, music, and video games.”

Nintendo Metroid:Other M Video Review – UMLan

Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys

“Today we have a review of the latest Metroid game, Metroid Other M. Metroid: Other M goes back to the traditional third-person viewpoint found in the earlier metroid games and helps explain Samus’ past in more detail. Metroid: Other M was also made by a collaboration of Team Ninja and Nintendo. Does the odd group-effort match up well for the Metroid series or does it fall flat? Watch our video review to find out.”

Xigmatek Aegir SD128264 CPU Cooler – Funky Kit

Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys

“Looking at its design and features, the Xigmatek Aegir SD128264 CPU Cooler looks pretty good. It’s definitely a lot smaller than the two Noctua CPU coolers we’ve already reviewed, which means it should fit in most chassis without any problems. The 120mm LED fan is an added bonus, although I’m not sure if everyone will like it. Still, I’m not worry about that … I’m more interested in its cooling performance. It’ll be interesting to see how it will perform against other CPU coolers we’ve tested in our labs.”

Antec DF-85 Dark Fleet Case Review @ Tweaknews

Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys

“So, is Antec’s Dark Fleet DF-85 chassis a worthy addition to their impressive line of gaming cases? If cooling and configuration options are the benchmarks we’re looking at, it just may be. With seven case fans included (five 120′s and a couple of 140mm top fans) and a distinctive look incorporating a chevron side window, uniform black finish inside and out and the front “Fleet Release” doors, the DF-85 brings a lot to the table in both performance and aesthetics.”

XTracPads Ripper XXL Review

Christopher over at Xtracpads.com has just sent us an XtracPads Ripper XXL for review.
XtracPads is a company that was started by a group of hardcore gamers in 2002 and specializes in designing high-end mouse surfaces and accessories for mainly gamers.

Mouse pads aren’t really used by many people anymore, probably because of the fact that most people nowadays use optical mice and don’t see the need for a mouse pad. However, many gamers still use mouse pads. It’s often more comfortable to use a mouse pad in-game and the performance when using a pad can be much greater due to the pad being a much smoother surface. This allows the mouse to glide more easily.

This leads me on to introduce today’s review, the ‘XtracPads Ripper XXL’.
