Asus U36JC Laptop Review

Asus U36JC Laptop Review

Published in Laptops, Reviews | Written by Matt

There’s no doubt that some laptops, for what you receive, are very overpriced. It could be said that the U36JC from Asus has a very high price tag, but when you take a look under the hood and see what this baby’s running, you’ll definitely understand why it’s so high. Sporting 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 2.53Ghz Intel i5 Processor and a NVIDIA GeForce 310M with 1GB DDR3 VRAM, the U36JC should be able to handle pretty much anything that’s thrown its way as well as provide decent enough graphics for most of your gaming needs. Let’s see how it well it performs.

SteelSeries Shift Keyboard : Medal Of Honour Gaming Edition

Published in Peripherals, Reviews | Written by Joe Blackmore

The ability to remove the entire keyset of a keyboard is something SteelSeries have played around with in the past and it seems to have stuck: the Shift is equipped with a similarly engineered removable keyset to the ZBoard. With specialist key sets available for specific games to slot in to the Shift base, this gaming keyboard appears to offer something extra besides retaining many of the keyboard gizmos we’ve come to expect as standard: macro programmable keys, a USB hub and specialist software to name a few. Jabra have been known to do high quality bluetooth accessories in the past and now that I have my hands on another one of their products I was glad to review it. The packaging was very professional and the outside of the box looked good. The product itself didn’t have much weight to it which was surprising, it has 3 speakers in the front with several command buttons around the device.

Casemate are known for producing high quality cases, and when i got my hands on the Venture case it felt like a strong folio case, and these are hard to find these days, i liked the etched textured design on the front with the red lining around the case to give it some jazz. The iPad 2 fits perfectly inside the case and everything was aligned nicely without having to move it around.
