“Sources close to the company say the demonstration will be held at Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California.”
Unlike the years before, Apple have booked venues such as the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, but it’s reported that Apple will be hosting the event much closer to home for Tim Cooks first product launch.
“Whatever the reason, the world will get it’s first look at the next iPhone at Apple’s Town Hall Auditorium in early October.”
This upcoming Apple event is most likely going to be the unveiling of the next generation iPhone and possibly the next generation iPod Touch, which is definitely due an upgrade. Whether that iPhone is the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, no one knows, but it’s going to be one hell of a show!
The event will also play host to the official release of iOS 5, which has been in the beta stages for the past few months, as well as iCloud.
With Steve no longer CEO, it’s unlikely that he’ll make an appearance, but we can always hope!
