The Sony Tablet S will be the first to hit stores. Packing a 9.4-inch touch screen, a wedge shape design for angular viewing and a powerful dual-core 1GHZ NVidia Tegra 2, Sony hopes they maybe able to steal some of Apples market share. This model will be available in 16GB or 32GB storage capacities.
The Tablet P is the one most people are excited about however. Boasting twin folding 5.5-inch screens and the same Tegra 2 processor, Sony has somehow managed to total a weight of only 372 grams. This model however will only be available in 4GB – but this can be expanded with a SD card.
Both models will come in two packages: Wi-Fi and 3G or Wi-Fi only. Typical features of both include front and rear facing cameras, an SD card reader (which can be used to extend storage) and a microUSB port.
The Tablet S will start shipping in September whilst the Tablet P should follow in November.
