Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days (PS3) Review @ GamingHeaven.com
Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys
The first Kane and Lynch was a crime game with a difference. Gone were the sanitary and sterilised views of crime that had become popular in the virtual world, that allowed players to chortle their way through mass murder and mayhem. Instead, here was a title that showed the grubby world which low end criminals often inhabit. The first game was met with mixed reviews, some lauding it for its grimy backdrop, others criticising its lack of innovation and flawed co-op system. Changes had to be made before the sequel saw the light of day.

ThermalTake recently released the V6 BlacX Edition, one of the first budget gaming cases with a top-mounted single-bay docking station for 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA disks. These type of docks easily cost $35 or more so getting it as a feature of a $69 case sounds like a pretty nice deal.

Kingston Data Traveler Ultimate 3.0 64GB USB 3.0 Flash drive @ TestFreaks
Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys
“Today Kingston just launched their first USB 3.0 flash drive called the Data Traveler Ultimate 3.0 and I’ve got it for review, specifically the 64gb version. This is, as I said, the first USB 3.0 flash drive from Kingston, so I was very curious as to how it performs and it does well. The DT Ultimate 3.0 exceeds the speeds that Kingston has listed in the specs, which is of course a very good thing and something that I’m glad to see. It’s Kingston though so I expected them to well honestly…. Read on to see the drive itself and see the test results for yourself. ”
Zowie G-RF and G-TF Review @ XSReviews

“Following on from our review of the Zowie EC1 mouse endorsed by pro gamer Heaton, we have another couple of products from the same firm also backed by professionals. Again Heaton lends his name, but so does Spawn and these aren’t mice, but mats. Packing an interesting stitching technique as well as some clean-cut styling, let’s see how these mousing surfaces hold up to our testing procedures.”
Speedlink Topaz Silicone Skin for iPad @ Rbmods
Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys
“The iPad is a expensive little gadget and there is a big chance you can dent the corners or break the screen if you drop it. Therefore there are lots of various covers for it just like for the iPhone. Speedlink sent us their Topaz Silicone skin that covers the back and the sides of the unit especially if you drop it since the cover is made out of silicone. How well does it work? Lets find out.”

If you’re looking for a product that looks nice, is compact, and has reasonably good sound quality for a small price, I think I got just what you want. “Sporting a brand new USB 3.0 interface to improve performance over the aging USB 2.0, the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate USB 3.0 flash drive packs 64GB of capacity onto a form factor that can fit onto your key ring. A beastly amount of information can be stored on a 64GB flash drive, data of all sorts and sizes. But how how fast is this USB 3.0 drive? Well, we put the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate to the test, both in USB 2.0 and USB 2.0 modes to find out.”
Two Cirago Bluetooth 3.0 USB Micro Adapters @ iGadget Life
Published in Affiliate Content, News | Written by Rhys
Bluetooth 3.0 is here, for the most part anyway, at least it’s here officially, but we’re not really seeing many devices incorporating it just yet. Several companies have already introduced micro USB Bluetooth 3.0 dongles that can help you get prepared, one such company is Cirago and they’ve sent me over two for review. A Class 1 device that has a range of 333Ft, and a Class 2 device that has a range of 30ft. These aren’t Bluetooth 3.0 +HS devices, these are just the standard Bluetooth 3.0 specification so don’t expect super speeds from them, they’re very similar to Bluetooth 2.0 specs actually.
Patriot DDR3 Viper II ‘Sector 5′ Series 1600MHz Ram @ Bona Fide Reviews

“Today I’ve got another ram review for you, this time from Patriot Memory. The kit is 4gigs of their Viper II Sector 5 1600Mhz ram that comes with an added bonus of a full license for 3DMark Vantage. I’ve put it up against a 4gb 1600Mhz kit of Kingston HyperX for comparison and it fares well.”
