Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 success equates to more than $1 billion in sales

Joining very few titles such as Guitar Hero III and World of Warcraft, Call of Duty MW2 has also hit the billion dollar mark. Activision’s game made an estimated $550m in its first five days and sold more than 4.7 million copies in its initial 24 hours of release.

Rumour has spread that yet again Sony is delaying the release of its much anticipated title which has been in the pipeline for a long time now, Gran Turismo 5. Originally GT5 was set to be released in Japan in March and other countries soon after, even though this release date was slated, the news doesn’t get much better seen as Sony has just announced that the release date’s status is changing to TBD ( to be determined) with no additional details available currently.
