In recent years computer hardware has been developing at an amazing rate. But whilst much attention is given to new graphics technologies and new CPUs it seems that system enclosures are often left without much time in the limelight. However, one such case demands time in the forefront, with both its audacious aesthetics and its plethora of features, the InWin Maelstrom demands attention.

Computer cases are the forefront of a PC system and with so many different styles, sizes and colours to choose from, it’s easily one of the most difficult decisions to make when building a new computer. Thermaltake is one of the highly popular PC chassis manufacturers. For years they’ve been presenting cases for mostly the ‘gamer’ and ‘htpc’ markets. However, recently, Thermaltake has released a new series of cases called ‘Element’ which is more so designed at the ‘professional’ segment of the PC industry.
Today we have the Thermaltake Element S for review which seems to be a curvier and sleeker version of the Element T we reviewed not so long ago. Can it live up to the standards set by this case though? Only one way to find out, introducing the Thermaltake Element S VK60001W2Z…
Antec Nine Hundred Two Gaming Case

The Antec Nine Hundred Two is a new, revamped version of the Nine Hundred. The original Nine Hundred was a great case but it wasn’t perfect. Antec have since looked at how they can make the case even better and have then implemented these improvements into the Nine Hundred Two. This means that the Nine Hundred Two has removable dust filters, external fan controllers (rather than internal) and the inside of the case has been painted black – in a similar fashion to the Antec Twelve Hundred. These improvements are just a few of the added extras. So has Antec managed to create the perfect gaming case this time round? Let’s take a look…
In Win X-Fighter AL-13 Series Gaming Case

Today at Tech-Reviews we are reviewing a new case from In Win, a relatively well known company who specialise in computer cases and power supplies. The X-Fighter has been produced with a certain theme in mind. And that theme is Star Wars. Now, being a fan of the films, this case immediately grabbed my attention with its futuristic design. But, it’s not all about looks, so let’s see if the interior lives up to the same standards as the exterior.
Thermaltake Element T Case

The Thermaltake Element T (VK9000 Series) is one of ThermalTake’s latest cases to enter the ‘Element’ series. Sporting plenty of space for fans, I think it’s safe to say that this is designed more for the gamers amongst us and the more performance demanding of users. So lets open it up and see if it’s up to the job.
Cooler Master Storm Scout Gaming Case

The Cooler Master Storm Scout is the second case to enter the ‘Storm’ series. Alike it’s big brother, the ‘Storm Sniper’, the Scout shares all the same characteristics which targets it at the gaming market. Masses of space, efficient cooling, good cable management and fantastic looks are all what makes a gaming chassis. But for a small price of just £70, is all this possible? Let’s put it to the test…

Antec Fusion Remote Max

It’s been nearly a year since we reviewed Antec’s Fusion 430 – a similar HTPC case to this – which proved a very worthy HTPC enclosure. Since that case, Antec have improved on their Fusion range massively. For a good reason too, with more and more people purchasing LCD or Plasma TV’s, many people too are buying HTPC’s to go with their shiny bit of tech. So, is the Antec Fusion Max a good HTPC solution? Well we’re about to find out…
NOX Myth Case Review

NOX is a relatively new company that focus on mainly producing cases and PSUs. Today, we have one of their enclosures to put to the test but will it be able to compete with the big boys already on the market that are known to be top notch when it comes to cooling and performance. The case certainly looks the part with a unique front panel design and innovative features. Well there’s only one way to find out how good it really is, let’s begin.
Antec Skeleton Review
Published in Cases, Reviews | Written by Rhys
It’s not often that we’re presented with a computer enclosure that doesn’t follow suit to the usual tower-format of case. Antec’s Open-Air Skeleton is one such enclosure which is different from the rest. The Antec Skeleton is a stripped down version of a system case, consisting of only the core essentials of an enclosure – no side panels etc. As I’m sure you’re aware, this is quite a unique approach to a computer case and quite a risky move on Antec’s part. Anyway, let’s go take a look…
