Today at Tech-Reviews we have the TDD-9000 Nexus Cooling Pad. There are many different types of cooling solutions for notebooks available and each claim to work wonders, but the Nexus Liquid Cooling Pad specifically claims of a whopping 17 Degree drop in laptop temperature (based on their own independent tests). Vizo manufacturer a vast amount of drive enclosures and it seems that this is their specialist area. However, they also have a large collection of coolers. One are of cooling which is often overlooked is the hard drive. Vizo’s own solution for HD cooling is the Orbiter, today we’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on one.

Evercool are a very large manufacturer for cooling products. Unfortunately though, Tech-Reviews has never worked with them before and so, we do not know what to expect. But by priding themselves as one of the top 5 cooling manufacturers in Taiwan, our expectations from their products are certainly high. Let’s see if the Evercool Rifling Fan proves itself worthy.

Silence is a wonderful thing, especially when it’s with your computer. With the rise of HTPC’s and the gamers demand for silence when shooting there favourite alien, many companies have jumped onto the band wagon and created silent or at least very quiet fans. Vizo is one such company and they have bought out the ultra quiet super muffle and the automatically speed adjusted freezer fans. Let’s see if they can offer some silent peace in a usually loud case.

Earlier this week we reviewed a silent 92mm fan, this provided us with silent cooling at the front of our case. Today we’ve got another fan from well known PC silencers, Noctua. This model is the NF-P12, an oddly coloured peach and brown fan which should hopefully replace our noisy 120mm Antec rear fan. Just like most Noctua products, this fan is very innovative with notches cut into the many blades. But is such an innovative fan from Noctua worth buying?

We’ve been playing around with computer silencing for a while now at Tech-Reviews and so far, we’ve had great success in silencing the hard drives. However, we still have some really noisy fans, so today we’ll be replacing our cases front 92mm fan with a model which has been advertised as like a ‘silent whisper’. The fan we’ll be reviewing is the Coolink SWiF 921 – - the second 92mm fan in the SWif series following on from the SWif 920. This fan is supposed to run as low as 7dB/A – - virtually inaudible. So, read on and find out if this Coolink fan really is ‘whisper silent’.
