The price of a product is a factor which is unpredictable and can change at the last minute and it’s been rumoured that the Radeon HD 4890 may launch for 10 Euros or more than we all initially expected. This is likely to increase ATI’s sales and this line of graphics cards will knock the companies 4870 graphics cards off the top spot. Furthermore, the competition with NVidia should increase; hopefully turning out as a positive factor for us consumers – let’s face it, we’re all getting short of cash in this financial climate.

It’s also expected that nVidia’s GTX 275 will be faster than two 4890’s. However, it’s likely that the GTX 275’s price will be more expensive than two and will be quite a rare purchase.

I’m starting to like this competitive spirit.
