Activision boycott grows
Richard - August 11th, 2009 4:11 PM
The boycott of Activision originally started when the company decided to raised the RRP of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to £54.99 in many European countries. It is blaming the weak pound for the price hike.
Apparently the CEO of Activision wanted to rise prices even higher and many people putting the blame onto him. The current petition against the price rise has gained over 8000 signatures.
Many gamers feel they are being ripped off by the increased price. It is expected that Modern Warfare 2 will be the most pirated PC game to date.
