Apple iOS 5 Camera app has hidden panorama mode

News, Tech

Hackers have recently discovered an interesting new feature inside iOS 5, and that is a panorama mode for the Camera application.

The hidden feature, discovered by iOS hacker Conrad Kramer, revealed on Monday that he’d found a way to enable the hidden Panorama mode within the default Camera app.

He managed to enable the feature by changing a key value in the iOS SDK.

The Panorama mode, although incomplete, appears to work relatively well.

Here’s a few images of the interface and a panorama picture taken using the hidden feature.
