Apple iPad 3 to sport thicker body?

Who doesn’t love a good Apple rumour?! Well, today we have some rumours on both the Apple iPad 3 and iPhone 5.
A source via iLounge has said that the iPad 3 will be slightly thicker than the iPad 2, which is only 0.7mm thick, to accommodate the larger lighting systems that will be needed for a higher resolution.
The source also goes onto saying that the iPad 3 could be announced and unveiled as early as Janurary, with a March release, depending on the condition of the finished product at that time.
As well as the Apple iPad 3, the new iPhone 5 will also apparently have a much larger 4-inch screen (yes we know that was said before about the iPhone 4S before it was unveiled), but won’t be featuring the ‘teardrop’ design many had predicted.
The iPhone 5 body will most likely feature an aluminium casing and should hopefully be ready for a summer unveiling and release next year.
