The battery issue, affecting many iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S users running iOS 5.0.1, is apparently nearing the end, with Apple releasing the new iOS 5.1 Beta to iOS developers.
The newly released, to developers, iOS 5.1 Beta is in its final stage of testing before being rolled out to all users.
This bug, which has been affecting users ever since iOS 5 was released nearly two months ago, has affected handsets in such as way that the battery can lose a full charge in just a couple of hours.
Hopefully Apple will manage to release the update before Christmas, because losing a full charge when you’re stuck out in the freezing cold whether would not be very good at all.
