An Apple product release wouldn’t be right without some sort of problem. This time it’s the return of the ‘yellow-tinge’ just like we saw on the iPad 2 when it was released.

Some Apple iPhone 4S users have reported that they’ve been seeing a slightly yellow colour instead of the crisp, clean colours we know and love on the retina display.

With the iPad 2, this problem was put down to the glue, which held the screen together, not drying in time for product launch. However, after a couple of weeks, it did eventually dry and everything was fine.

If this the case with the Apple iPhone 4S? We do know it is Apple’s biggest launch so far, so it’s highly likely that the 4S was rushed out of the factory too fast so that they could meet demand.

A few websites have been advising 4S owners to hold out, and to also set the screen on full brightness, which will apparently speed up the process. We don’t have any evidence to support this though.

The Apple iPhone 4S sports a dual-core A5 processor, 8MP camera capable of full HD 1080p video recording and the very intelligent Siri software, so it’s vital that the phone is working properly.

Is this the same problem we saw on the Apple iPad 2? Hopefully it is, otherwise Apple are going to have one hell of a mission up on them to fix this problem.
