As most of you Apple iPhone 4S users will know, the battery life on your new device hasn’t been too good since you bought it last month. However Apple recognised the problem and have now released an update to iOS 5, which should fix all of your battery issues as well as a few other bugs.
Apple have made iOS 5.0.1 officially available to iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users, which is the first update to arrive as an over-the-air update, measuring up at about 44MB.
iOS 5.0.1 also brings a selection of new multi-touch gesture controls to the original iPad tablet and also fixes issues with documents stored in iCloud.
The update also brought updates to Siri, Apple’s voice commanded personal assistant, in which the support for the Australian accent was updated.
Have you updated to iOS 5.0.1 yet? If not, just head over to the Settings application (on your device) > General > Software Update and click update.
