In Germany PowerColor has released the Radeon HD 4730 for just €72. For a graphics card sporting a 700MHz GPU with 640 stream processors and 512MB of GDDR5 on a 128-bit bus, the price definitely sounds reasonable.

The ATI graphics card is based on the 55nm RV770LE core and so should perform just slightly slower than the 40nm HD 4770. This is purely a prediction as there aren’t any reviews on the card at the moment. But if the results are as expected and it performs similarly to the 4770, which achieved an average score of 9.4 at TestFreaks, then things are definitely looking good.

The HD 4730 will only be available in limited quantities where those regions HD 4830 stocks are dry and so will not be available in the masses. So if you’re looking to get hold of one, I suggest you act fast.
