    AT&T: iPhone 4S is ‘most successful’ pre-order phone ever

Update: More than 1 million iPhone 4S’ have been pre-ordered worldwide within the first 24 hours.

The demand for the iPhone 4S released last week at the “Let’s talk iPhone” event, has proven to be quite popular amongst customers, according to AT&T.

The initial demand for the iPhone 4S has made it the most successful iPhone launch the company has ever had.

AT&T stated on Friday (7th) that it received more than 200,000 pre orders for the iPhone 4S within the first 12 hours. This is an unimaginable number of people ordering what is essentially a slightly upgraded iPhone 4.

When the iPhone 4S was announced last week, Apple stock actually dropped 3%, but I predict that share prices are only going to be rising for the forseeable future thanks to the iPhone 4S.

Sales for Apple products are also expected to rise rapidly this quarter due to people impulse buying and purchasing out of respect due to the unfortunate passing of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
