A recent survey, carried out here in the UK by Uswitch, has revealed that the best time for users to get the most out of their internet connection is 3am with an average connection being about 9.6Mbps at this time.
The report was based on over 2 million internet speed tests, and the results show that a huge percentage of customers aren’t receiving anywhere near what they should be during peak times.
Uswitch revealed that during 7-9pm, a peak time, most users receive an average of 6.2Mbps while that speed increases by over 30% to 9.6Mbps during 2-3am.
These results appear to be the same all over the UK because if we take a look at Evesham, who receive a very healthy speed of 15.5Mbps, their connection speeds drop to just 4.9Mbps when everyone arrives home from work.
