A man from Florida who has been accused of downloading child pornography is blaming his pet cat. Detectives found more than 1,000 images on his computer which accounts for 10 possessions of child pornography.

Keith Griffin, the man accused, blamed the pornography on his cat who supposedly has a habit of sitting on his computer’s keyboard and downloading strange material. His cat isn’t just capable of downloading explicit images though, the feline also hides the images from his owner on a separate hard drive. It seems this cat is a bit of dark horse!

Unsurprisingly the Police didn’t believe Griffin’s unlikely story and so he is being held in Martin County Jail.

The cat is being looked after by a family friend and so far hasn’t shown interest in anymore child porn.
