CBS CEO apparently turned down Apple iTV offer

Les Moonves, CEO at CBS, reportedly turned down Steve Jobs’ iTV offer when Steve put the pitch forward to him over a year ago.

According to recent reports, the late Apple founder Steve Jobs had tried to get CBS boss Les Moonves on-board with the heavily-rumoured Apple iTV, which many predict will be launched sometime this year.

Suprisingly though, Mr Moonves refused the offer, saying to Jobs, “You know more than me about 99 per cent of things but I know more about the television business.”

If what has been reported is true, Tim Cook and his team could have a hard time convincing other TV companies to get on-board with the Apple iTV.
