Matthew Crippen, a Southern California college student has been arrested for illegally modifying video games consoles so that his mates can play pirated video games.

The pirate, who is 27, was caught after Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents searched his house. Crippen now faces a jail sentence of 10 years for modifying Xbox, PlayStation and Wii consoles.
