As most of you iPad users will know, using Facebook on the iPad absolutely sucks. Using either the iPhone version or using the mobile version in Safari, neither are capable of delivering the experience needed for such as large device.

Well, according to Facebook iPad app lead developer, Jeff Verkoeyen, who left Facebook for Google, the application has been ready and could have been released some time around May this year! This information will without a doubt anger iPad users all over the place.

Jeff Verkoeyen even said that they may never release the iPad app, with Facebook more concerned and focussed on its desktop site for the forseeable future.

These comments were left on his own blog, but after they were published on the Business Insider website, they were promptly removed.

Have you been waiting for the Facebook iPad app? If so, does it bother you or are you fed up with how slow things seem to be going?
