In June, Facebook had grown by a massive 24 million users. It now has around 250 million active users and recieves 340 million global unique visitors.

These impressive figures mean that Facebook is now the fourth largest site in the world, after Google, Microsoft and Yahoo.

Although Facebook is still steadily increasing its userbase, it may be a while until it catches up with the big three. These get around 240-500 million unique users a month.
