At the ninth Games Developers Choice Awards, Media Molecule, who was the favourites to win the game of the year award, unexpectedly lost to Bethesda Softwork’s Fallout 3. That said, LittleBigPlanet still won the most prizes.

As well as winning Game of the Year, the Maryland-land based outfit, picked up an award for best writing, winning over competitors such as Braid, GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid.
