Samsung WimaxSamsung today shared details about one of their new mobile phones, the unannounced SWD-M100 Mondi Wimax mobile phone device for the ‘Clear’ network. Samsung have said that the Mondi has a touch screen and has the capability to access the internet using Clear’s mobile Wimax network.

Going by the photo seen on Samsung’s own RSS feed, the Mondi features a slide-up screen revealing a four-row QWERTY keyboard – similar to the rivalling Nokia N810 Internet tablet. It also entails a D-Pad with several functions placed on the front facia of the phone. Although this device has not been announced and is unknown when it will arrive in the eagerly awaited hands of consumers, Samsung claim this to be the first handheld Wimax device in the U.S.
