Recently it’s been announced that Take-Two have moved some of their major releases back to next year. Although this appears to of happened for a number of reasons, it was more due to the fact the titles are simply not ready for release this year.
GTA 5 still hasn’t been announced for this holiday season, and now that the schedule is becoming increasingly crowded, it seems Take-Two are going to take the decision to postpone the release of some of its titles that were due to be released in the holiday season of 09 – to maximize profits.
Take-Two already have a large number of titles for release in the first half of 2010, so it seems that Take-Two will schedule the release of GTA 5 for the holiday season of 2010 and it will be the premium release of the season.
GTA 4 is still a very much supported title, with an exclusive add-on due to be released on the Xbox 360 in the near future. GTA 5 is expected to be announced at E3 next year and from what we’ve been told, has already been scheduled for an early November 2010 release.
