FIFA 12 has only just been released, but the price wars have already begun. Asda priced up the eagerly awaited football game at £35.99, but HMV swooped in and definitely stole the show by selling the game for £1.99 when you trade in your old copy of F1 2011.
FIFA 12 has been one of the most anticipated game releases this year and with a whole range of new features, which includes a new impact engine set to make tackles and off-ball scuffles more realistic, we’re guessing that FIFA 12 is going to be better than ever.
This time of year is soon going to get even more exciting soon as well with the release of EA’s Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3 launching on October 28th and November 8th, respectively.
With that irresistible £1.99 price tag, I’m sure many of you gamers that currently own F1 2011 have already ran out the door to your nearest GAME or GameStop to purchase the new release.
Unfortunately, if you don’t already own F1 2011, you’re going to paying full whack! And priced up at £39.99 in HMV, that is one hell of a price difference from £1.99.
The Special Edition of FIFA 12 is currently available from Asda’s website for £34.99. Those who purchase it from Asda will benifit from a full title release as well as 18 Gold Packs, split into three packs a month for six months, which will allow gamers to build up their FIFA 12 Ultimate Team.
