Now, a movie database website isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think about a game for iOS users, but that’s what has happened! The IMBd have released a trivia game for both Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch users.

The online portal for TV shows and movies have launched a trivia app in the hope of expanding it’s portfolio of applications and to meet customer demand.

The app is available on the Apple App Store and takes advantage of the trivia pages for actors, tv shows and film. The company already have their own official IMDb application in the App Store.

The IMDb application has been downloaded a total of 26 million times since it launched back in 2009 and they’re hoping that the trivia application will be just as successful.

Whilst iOS users can get the application now, Android users will have to wait.

The app is absolutely free and you have the option to purchase additional trivia packs form within the application for 69p each.

I’ve been having a play around with the app and all seems great so far.
