Today we talk about the very promising UMI IRON smartphone. It runs on Android 5.1, features an eye-scanner, RGB notification led, 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM for just £139.99. Sporting a beautiful design and amazing specs, it’s supposedly one of the best Android devices below £200.
The UMI IRON is built on an aluminium body, which whilst it does not offer the possibility to remove the battery it more than makes up for it in both design and build quality.
Weighing in at only 148 grams it’s actually lighter than the iPhone 6 Plus. The phone itself has an array of different features including a front-facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, a rear-facing 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a 5.5-inch display. The 5.5- inch display is a Full HD 400 DPI display, meaning that images, videos and games will look insanely good.
Housed inside the IRON is a 1.3GHz 64-bit Octa-Core CPU and 3GB of RAM. In other words, you’ll be able to run pretty much anything you throw at the phone, whether that’s games, 1080p movies or more.
Umi brings not only power, but it also includes Texas Instruments DirectPath technology that ensures clear audio without distortion even at very high volumes. This means that a much more enjoyable experience will be had when listening to music.
I’m sure you’re wondering whether all of this power will have a negative effect on the battery? Well, there’s no need to worry. The IRON has a 3350mAh battery, which actually provides you with more battery power than the iPhone 6 Plus (2915mAh).
