Exciting news for all developers out there! Internet Explorer 10 Preview 2 has just been released by Microsoft, and they’ve incorporated a whole varierty of new features into Internet Explorer 10 such as more HTML5 support as well as improved support for interactive web applications.
Microsoft recently stated: “With the second Platform Preview of IE10, developers can start working with several site-ready HTML5 technologies for building interactive Web applications with great performance and security.”
So what does this mean? Well, along with IE9, Microsoft have really upped their game with the past two releases of Internet Explorer by implementing the features many web developers are using, and have been using for some time, on other popular browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Chome.
The preview can be downloaded and tested by visiting this link here.
Now, IE10 is just a pre-release version so the full final release is not expected until April 2012. However, preview 2 of IE10 was also the browser that powered the public demos of Windows 8 so could this possibly mean a similar release date for Windows 8 also? Leave a comment below with your thoughts.
