As most of you iPhone 4S users will know, the battery life on your new iOS 5 device hasn’t been that brilliant. However, Apple has confirmed that an update for iOS 5 will be released soon in an attempt to fix the issues seen with the Apple iPhone 4S’ battery life.
The announcement from Apple confirmed that they acknowledged that there were a selection of bugs in iOS 5 that were causing iPhone 4S owners’ batteries to drain completely, from fully charged, in a matter of hours.
“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices,” an official statement from Apple read. “We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”
The Apple iPhone 4S sports an 8MP camera capable of 1080p video recording, a dual-core processor and up to 64GB of storage. You can check out our review of the Apple iPhone 4S here.
