Matt "Maxel" - August 4th, 2008 9:57 PM
According to recent survey produced by Goo Research, 1 in 10 japanese people seem to enjoy dropping their electronic items, such as cameras, mobile phones and camcorders, in to the sea.
The survey, conducted in July showed 47.1 percent of the electronic gear lost was a mobile phone, 34.3 percent lost a camera, and ten percent a video recorder.
Of the 1,051 people surveyed 55.6 per ent said that they would take a mobile phone to the beach and just over half say they would take a digital camera.
After their gear got wet, over a third removed the battery and left it to dry and a third just turned it on to see how it was. A daft 3 percent dismantled it, washed it in fresh water and left it to dry.
