Latest Google Doodle celebrates Halloween on a very large scale

    Matt - October 31st, 2011 11:00 AM

It’s that time of year again and the latest Google Doodle is here. This time it’s in celebration of Halloween and instead of the usual interactive logo, the company have opted for creating a giant real life doodle.

The search engine giants have, this halloween, chosen to carve out six gigantic pumpkins and turn them into a festive themed rendition of the famous Google logo.

With each pumpkin weighing in at over 1,000 pounds (454KG), these aren’t just some ordinary run of the mill pumpkins.

After the photo was taken, somewhere in the Half Moon Bay area of California, the six pumpkins were shipped to Google’s Mountain View complex.

Apparently, Google’s previous Doodle, the interactive Pac Man Google Doodle, is said to have cost the global economy $120 million (£75 million). An extraordinary amount of money to have been lost whilst we were minding our own business having a quick game of Pac Man!
