Carrying on from recent Motorola Xoom 2 news, Motorola have now announced a second version of the Xoom 2, the Xoom 2 Media Edition. Both models carry the Xoom 2 name, however they are very different devices.
Motorola Xoom 2 Specs
The Motorola Xoom 2 will be the main attraction sporting a 10.1-inch screen as well as Android Honeycomb 3.2.
At 8.8mm thin it will be thinner than rival tablet the Apple iPad 2, but it still manages to house a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB RAM meaning it will be able to handle pretty much anything you throw at it.
Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition Specs
The Media Edition will arrive in a slightly smaller package with an 8.2-inch screen, but Motorola say it will still sport a HD-quality screen.
The Media Edition will feature exactly the same hardware, but the screen will feature a wider viewing angle, and the device as a whole will be slightly thicker than the Xoom 2 at 8.99mm.
Also housed within the Media Edition will be adaptive virtual surround sound and multiple speakers to offer a bassier experience.
Both devices will be available from mid-November through Carphone Warehouse.
