London, 3rd September , 2009: MSI, the manufacturers of notebooks and components has today announced the UK launch of their slim, ultra stylish, powerful MSI X600 notebook.  The MSI X600 is aimed at those who demand both style, functionality and power from a notebook. It comes with Intel’s latest CULV platform, a 500GB harddrive, 4GB of internal memory, a large 15.6 inch screen and a ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 3D graphics card for excellent gaming performance. All this from a super slimline notebook that measures in at just 9mm at it’s thinest and weighs a light 2.1kg – making the MSI X600 a true portable powerhouse.

The X600 is available in two paint finishes, brilliant black and sterling silver glazed and UV processed for longevity.  The design is simplistic yet modern and integrates smooth curves making it appealing and highly recommended for contemporary users. The X600 not only has beauty it also has brains, offering consumers an Intel® Core 2 Duo, a built in 1.3 mega pixel high resolution webcam, widescreen display with HDMI, bluetooth and wireless n connectivity.  The X600 is also bundled with an optical drive for maximum enjoyment of movies, music and games. 

MSI have combined the latest technology into the X600 notebook, offering 16:9 widescreen so there are no more black bars at the top and bottom of your screen when playing back films.  This is further enhanced with four speakers qualified by Dolby for outstanding audio performance increasing the experience whilst watching movies or playing games.  The X600 uses the latest LED Power-Saving backlit technology, providing colour fullness and brightness enhancing your visual experience, with the lower usage on power is brilliant as this means extra battery life.

The X600 comes with three USB 2.0 ports for easy attachment to external devices and peripherals, a 4 in 1 card reader and a two headphone jacks.  Bundled in addition to this is a bag to protect your notebook plus, an optical drive and a 2 years collect and return International warranty.

  • X600-055UK – comes with 500HDD, a CULV SU9600 and an optical drive – £799
  • X600-067UK – comes with 320HDD and a ULV SU2700 – £599 (no optical drive)
