With the likes of Facebook, YouTube and Twitter dominating the top spots, MySpace is no longer welcome in the UK’s top 10 social networks with it being forced out by websites such as Stumble Upon and Yahoo Answers.

To be fair, this news should come as no shock because as most of you will know, MySpace just isn’t popular anymore.

It’s unfortunate because MySpace certainly influenced many of todays social networks

The main reason for MySpace being out of the top 10 is because the past few years have seen rapidly declining figures.

James Murrary, from chart tracking service Experian Hitwise, said, “MySpace traffic has been on the decline for at least three years now but this is the first time the social network has fallen out of the Experian Hitwise top 10.”

“In its place, Stumble Upon has risen in the rankings and is now the UK’s tenth most popular social network.”

Did you used to use MySpace? Or do you still use it now? Let us know in the comments below.

Who the H are ExperianHitwise, anyway?

Somethings wrong with their rankings! Google lists MySpace as #61 out of the Top 1000 sites worldwide, with over 45 Million unique visitors and over 1 Billion page views! It’s still ahead of other competitors like Tumblr and Huffington Post. Take a look:

Where are Stumbleupon, Moneysavingexpert, Gumtree, or Yahoo Answers in the Top 100? Nowhere! Seems to me as if ExperianHitwise is not a good horse to back as far as where to put your eggs in what internet basket.

If you just count Social Networking sites, MySpace comes in 5th overall, worldwide.
