The new iPad is set to be released to the world this week and many have already started to queue up to make sure they get their device as soon as possible, and because of ‘off the charts’ demand for the new tablet Apple have reported that the pre-orders have now sold-out.
Apple has just issued a statement about the stock issues regarding the new iPad. It has been said that all new iPads that had been set aside for pre-orders have been so in-demand that they’ve had to put a 2-3 week wait on some orders. Those who got in early should still receive their device on March 16th.
Apple told USA Today that, “Customer response to the new iPad has been off the charts and the quantity available for pre-order has been purchased.Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date.”
So, essentially, this means that if you haven’t pre-ordered already you better get your coat and get down to your local Apple store to start queueing!
