Apple have just confirmed that Apple fans in the UK will be able to start purchasing the new iPad from stores from 8am onwards.
This time only includes Apple stores, so if you’re purchasing from a retailer other than Apple you’ll have to find out what time they open by giving them a call.
The new iPad was officially unveiled last Wednesday at the Apple event and it was confirmed that on March 16th (Friday), the new iPad will be launched in France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the US and the UK.
If you purchase your new iPad from an Apple store, you’ll also be offered a free personal setup service, where you’ll be shown how to set up your email, load new apps and more.
“Every customer who buys a new iPad at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customise their iPad by setting up email, loading new apps from the App Store and more, so they’ll be up and running with their new iPad before they leave the store,” an Apple spokesperson said.
