Rumours that Michael Jackson was planning a new video game starring himself before his death have apparently been confirmed by the King of Pop’s own production company, MJJ Productions.

Apparantly MJ himself was a big fan of video games and was the owner of a large arcade collection in his home. He is also reported to of leant his voice and music to the game before his death.

Details on what form the game will actually take are hard to come by, but a representative for MJJ Productions said that the game was for home console platforms (which suggests Xbox 360 and PS3) and had been in development for several months already, though no indication was given of what state it is in, we also don’t know what form the game will take.

"I am sure it will still be released. Micheal loved games"  the MJJ Production spokesperson said in a comment to MCV UK.

A Christmas 09 is apparently scheduled, it is also understood that the game will feature a number of the star’s most iconic hits.
