It seems PC manufacturers such as Novatech are already preparing for the i5 boom. A system called the ‘Elite Pro’ has been spec’d up by the company which is set to include an Intel Core i5 processor. However, specific details about the processor and memory are not yet detailed on the website.

Below are the exact specifications from Novatech’s website:

  • New Future Intel Core I5 Processor – Based Desktop Platform
  • Antec Nine Hundred – 2
  • 1Tb 3.5" 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
  • LG CH08LS10 Blu-Ray Reader and DVDRW Drive
  • GeForce 9800GT SLI 1GB GDDR3 HDMI/DVI PCI-Express Graphics
  • Logitech 1500 Cordless Rechargable Desktop USB/PS2
  • P55 (Socket 1156) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard

Pretty good specifications in my opinion. It seems the system has been aimed at the ‘bang-for-the-buck’ type of user – what the Core i5 is intended for.
