It seems it’s not just Apple having issues with batteries in their devices. The Nokia Lumia 800 has also been seeing similar problems. Nokia have announced that a patch should be available in early December.
Not many have really paid attention to the Nokia Lumia 800, which was the first handset to sport the recently released Windows Phone 7 OS, since the insanely popular Apple iPhone 4S has been hogging a majority of the attention since it launched in October, which could be a potential reason for why sales have failed to meet the expectations that Nokia had for the Lumia 800.
Nokia confirmed in an official post on its support forms that, “A software update in early December will include improvements to power efficiency, a second update in early January introduces further enhancements to battery life and battery charging.”
