Portland, Oregon – Whimsy Animals for iPhone and iPod touch, a simple kids jigsaw puzzle game, is now available on the iTunes App Store from David Ross Software, developer of Uni Sudoku, Knit Buddy and Bike Quiver. Explore sixty beautiful animal photos and sounds by completing simple jigsaw puzzles. Practice hand-eye coordination, recognize shapes, and learn about scale while unveiling a world of animals – familiar and new, domestic and wild, baby and adult – all with their fun and unique sounds. All ages.
With the easiest level just slide touch over piece to send into place, the hardest level requires precise placement. Play in order or browse to your favorite. Great to play with your kid or to give them for a plane or car ride or at a restaurant. Beta-tested by my own three-year old niece.
The different levels allow kids of different abilities and ages to enjoy the game. Pre-schoolers will probably enjoy the game the most as this is the height of when kids are obsessed with animals and their sounds. Whimsy Puzzles is not designed to be played for hours a day, but as a fun moment to share with your kid or something to absorb them when you have to focus on something else, like a phone call or driving.
