According to recent rumours, the Retina display, that will be present in the Apple iPad 3, has now entered production according to industry analyst Richard Shim from Display Search.
The iPad 3 QXGA HD display will apparently have a resolution of 2048 x 1536, making everything viewable on the screen ultra crisp and clear.
Compared with the current iPad and iPad 2 display, which only has a resolution of 1024 x 728, this would be a massive jump and would allow for full HD films to be viewed on the device.
It’s also rumoured that Apple will use it’s IPS technology to allow for a wider viewing angle as well.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
