Meet the Rimac Concept One, a 1088HP Electric Supercar

Eats Zondas for breakfast.
Check out this monster, a 1088-hp electric supercar, capable of producing 0-60 in 2.8 seconds from a standing start. It’s electronically limited to 190MPH, but on full charge it’s capable of 373MPH, enough to leave most supercars for dust.
Aesthetics wise it’s a beaut, the low menacing body is made from carbon fibre and the wheels are big fat alloys with low profile tyres. The interior isn’t too shabby either, designed by a team of Pininfarina employees led by designer Gordon Popovic – who has worked for Ferrari.
In order to achieve this power, each wheel of the Rimac Concept One is powered by an individual electric motor, a 250kW (335bhp) one, totaling a whopping 1340 BHP. Of course with all this power you’re probably wondering about the range, from full charge it can do 370 miles – at what speed is unknown though.
Rimac promises to build 88 cars, due for release in 2013, so you better get saving that million or so!
