Slim PS3 in Autumn?

A report that has been translated by Engadget states that Sony has made a deal with Pegatron and Foxconn to produce the PS3 Slim.
These rumours have been backed up by Far Eastern sources who say that these manufacturers will be delivering the PS3 slim to Sony in late July. They also say that the launch date is likely to be August or September.
This new version of the PS3 is apparently lighter, slimmer and much better looking. Specs wise it is expected that they will have almost identical hardware to the current PS3.
It’s not surprising to see this new slim PS3 as slim versions of the Playstation 1 and 2 were made, known as the PSOne and PSTwo respectively.
