Matt - November 22nd, 2011 4:08 PM
The Sony PlayStation Vita is going to be arriving early next year, and everyone is getting very excited about the brand new games console. UK customers now have a confirmed network that will be supporting the device.
The PS Vita, which has 3G connectivity, will launch with Vodafone as the official network for the new portable console.
You’ll be able to purchase the PS Vita from the 22nd February 2012 both with or without a SIM plan, meaning that you don’t have to be tied into a contract to enjoy the new gadget.
As an incentive to commit to a contract with Vodafone, sony will be giving away a free download of Wipeout 2048 once you’ve done so.
We’re unsure about which titles will be released alongside the PS Vita, but Uncharted will definitely be one of them due to it being the game used for showcasing the PS Vita’s capabilities.
