Mobile phone retailer and network T-Mobile have officially unveiled the T-Movile Vivacity, which is a budget Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone that features a 3.5-inch display and up to 32GB of storage.
The T-Mobile Vivacity has now been unveiled by T-Mobile, who are one half of the Everything Everywhere partnership here in the UK.
The device doesn’t have the best of specs, but for those on a budget, it’s more than capable of delivering a great experience.
Featuring a 3.5-inch capactive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel rear camera as well as Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth, the Vivacity has some great features.
Unfortunately, the device only has 512MB of internal storage, presumably where the production costs have been slashed to allow a lower retail price. You can purchase up to a 32GB microSD card for the phone though.
“The T-Mobile Vivacity gives you everything you want from a smartphone,” said Paul Jevons, Director of Products and Devices at Everything Everywhere. “It offers the latest Android software, a large, high resolution touchscreen display and a stunning design – perfect for anyone looking for premium performance and great value for money.”
On PAYG, you’re only looking at a price of £99 for the handset, which to be fair is extreme value for money for an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone.
If you’re more of a pay monthly person, you can pick up the Vivacity for free on a 24 month, £10 per month contract.
