A recent report, carried out by telecoms watchdog Ofcom, has found that only 58 percent of the 3,000 polled consumers were completely happy with the broadband service provided to them.
Broadband provider Sky came out on top, with customers saying that they provided the most satisfactory service and were more willing that other providers to resolve and take issues seriously.
UK provider Orange were also regarded as being below average, and from personal experience I’d advise to stay away from Orange in terms of broadband. If you’re looking for a good mobile network provider, then by all means Orange are up there with Three and O2.
Whilst Virgin Media were not regarded as a very good provider in terms of overall service, other UK providers of landline, fixed broadband, mobile and pay TV services provided reasonably satisfactory contact experience in most cases.
