The Package

The Antec Skeleton arrives in a cube-shape thick cardboard box with the company’s usual black and yellow colour scheme present all over.  On both the front and rear of the box, a side-on image of the Skeleton is visible – allowing for a sneak preview. Adorned on all sides is the motto ‘Think Beyond The BOX’ – one motto which Antec have clearly achieved.

On the left-side of the box is a birds-eye view of the ‘Big Boy’ fan which is situated atop. This is obviously a feature which aids in good bragging points for Antec.

As for the right-side, it’s a tad more informative. The specifications for the case are listed neatly in a table to the bottom-right.

Opening the box reveals the Skeleton to be padded between two thick pieces of Styrofoam. This will ensure the case doesn’t arrive damaged and broken.

Complementing the enclosure – if I can call It that – is a bunch of included accessories, compromising of:

  • 92mm Fan
  • Four Mounting Plates
  • Two Zip Ties
  • Bag of Screws
  • Product Overview Page
  • Pin Assignment Sheet
  • Warranty Statement

The 92mm fan included is intended to be installed in a small cage, thus allowing it to cool the hard drive/s.

As you’ve probably noticed, no manual is included. The product overview page directs the user to a website where upon the manual is located. This helps to save the trees, and comes at the small expense of going to a website rather than having to simply open a manual.
