While I like the idea of an open case, I don't know what Antec was thinking when they made this one. Them not having the foresight to allow most after market cpu coolers make this case nothing more than a conversation piece. The everyday joe isn't going to interested in something like this. Only the enthusiast would and the enthusiast is surely the one who would be using after markert cpu coolers. Additionally, it only allows 2 DVD drives (I have 4). I personally have the only other open enclosure (that I know of) which is the HSPC Top Deck Tech Station. Now that one will allow any cooler you could think of being the motherboard is on top with nothing above it (and it allows more than 2 DVD drives). Antec had a good idea but just didn't think it through very well. They surely couldn't have had an enthusiast designing it (or if they did, he was a poor excuse of one).
